Several posters have recently commented on Jonathon Payne's (author of Jove) assertion as to the ease of implementing Undo, yet the most recent version of Jove I have been able to find (v 4.14) has no Undo/Redo feature implemented. Is there a newer version (optimally already ported to the PC environ) that does have this ability? I would also be interested in recommendations/pointers/commentary on and to any other editors that are: freely available, configurable/extensible (macros and key-bindings), portable (source code avail) large-scale (disk-limited file size, etc.) have Undo feature (true keystroke undo, not just kill/yank, line restore, etc) have Folding feature (optional) and have or could be ported without gross difficulty to the PC/DOS environment (Crisp & GnuEmacs could not be last I checked). Many thanks for any information.
