I bought a centronics interface for the Silvar Reed
silverwriter typewriter (model ex42) from a company
called Dataspeed of Beaverton Ore. After installation,
the typehead doesn't always go to the right place upon
power on, and occasionally the machine types garbage. The manual
says to call them if these particular symptoms occur,
but they've evidently gone out of business. My question:
did anyone out there have this problem and get it solved?
If so, please tell me what you did.
