I am interested in any magazines that might be devoted to the hardware fiends amoung us. I already subscribe to BYTE and pick-up RADIO-ELECTRONICS whenever they have a hardware article that looks interesting. I have heard that MICROCORNICOPIA may be what I am looking for, but have never been able to find a copy. Are there any understanding souls on the net that could give me their impressions and maybe even list the table of contents for a few issues? Thanks in advance, Ken Finney @ Boeing Aerospace

I would be wary of any publication entitled "Microcornicopia" :-) How about "Microcornucopia"?

"I am interested in any magazines that might be devoted to the hardware fiends amoung us." How about "COMPUTER SMYTHE", the hardware journal. "Computer Smythe is published quarterly in the interest of handcrafted microcomputer hardware construction and enhancehement"... I think it's published by the same people who do "The Audio Amateur". One of the earlier issues had an article on building your own wire wrap tool. The current, Vol. 1 NO. 3, continues a series on building a 68000 system. Rate is $15.00 for 4 issues. Computer Smythe Magazine Circulation Department P.O. Box 176 Peterborough, NH. 03458-0176 I think it's a pretty good magazine. A friend thinks it would have been more useful about 5 years ago. harold ravlin {ihnp4,pur-ee}!uiucdcs!uicsl!hr
