edge@unislc.uucp (Brian Edginton) (05/15/91)
Thanks to all those who answered my plea for help
about elvis on dos and the need for a tmp file.
I had made a tmp file under c: when I first got the
error msg, but it still didn't help. After I got
back to looking at the problem, I noticed I have a
TMP=d:xxx in my environment for my compiler, but I
did not have that particular volume mounted while
I was playing with elvis, so it could not find the
equiv of the TMP variable path. Elvis _does_ know
about the TMP variable.
Thanks,
edge
