[sci.psychology] A riddle of language & sensory modes

randolph%cognito@Sun.COM (Randolph Fritz) (04/04/88)

We all know the imperative form for teaching through vision; we say, "show
me". Fine; "show me" covers just about anything you could see. For teaching
through hearing we can say, "tell me", "play me", "sing me". Fair number of
sounds you might want to teach aren't covered (auto engine sounds, for
instance).

Ok. So, what is the imperative for teaching through touch?
