Hi,
I'm trying to dig up all the information I can on Sales/Marketing and
Contact management software packages, especially those available commercially
but also otherwise. Although I would be interested in hearing about database
applications, spreadsheet macros, time managers, outline processors,
project management, scheduling and other tools that could be useful in
the "Contact Management" area, I am particularly interested in tools
designed specifically for this area.
These are the programs that help you track customer information, etc.,
while you're on the phone with them, and let you build and use sales plans.
So far I know only of a few of these: Sales Generator Plus, SaleMaker,
Act, and 'Maxima' or something. I think all are for the PC only.
Of particular interest are systems available across multiple platforms,
such as PC, Xenix, Mac, Unix(es), and perhaps VMS and others, or those which
integrate well with existing database or time management packages - or which
work over networks. I really need to know what these systems can do. If you
are a happy/dissatisfied user of such a package, that is the most valuable,
but any price, availability, company data, and of course pocket reviews or
references to published reviews are all welcome. I don't even mind being
placed on mailing lists:
