[alt.config] Might as well ask

This newsfroup's been empty so long that I thought I might as
well post something to it.  Another question has also been
preying on my mind as of late, concerning the methods one
must resort to to create an alt.* froup.  Could anyone either
email me instructions on the protocols for the creation of
new alt.* froups or post them?

As I understand it, all you have to do is get a site admin to post a
newgroup message for the group you want.  No discussion, no vote
required.
