WIGILIA-8 - Noodles with Poppy Seed and Raisins

This recipe could be used as part of a 12 course meal known

     sundown on Christmas Eve.

INGREDIENTS (Serves 4-6)
     6 cups boiling water
     1 tsp salt
     3 cups egg noodles
     2 Tbsp butter, melted
12 oz poppy seed cake and pastry filling
     1 tsp vanilla extract
     1 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
     1/3 cup raisins

PROCEDURE
          (1) Combine boiling water and salt in a large sau-
cepan. Add noodles and cook until tender, then

          (2) Toss noodles with butter in the saucepan.

          (3) Combine poppy-seed filling with vanilla extract,
lemon juice and lemon peel, and raisins. Add to
