This is Lasagna the way my mother makes it.

chopped

chopped
.IG "1" "large onion," 
chopped
.IG "2 lbs" "canned Italian tomatoes" "1 kg"
.IG "12 oz" "tomato paste" "400 g"
.IG "10" "lasagna noodles,"
cooked
.IG "\(12 tsp" "salt" "2.5 ml"
.IG "2 tsp" "oregano" "10 ml"
.IG "\(14 tsp" "pepper" "1 ml"
.IG "1 lb" "mozzarella cheese," "500 g"
shredded

.IG "3 cups" "cottage cheese" "750 g"

Combine meat, celery, carrots, onion, garlic; cook till soft.

Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, oregano, and pepper. Simmer.

Mix together the cottage cheese, eggs, parmesan cheese and parsley.

Layer meat sauce, cheese mixture, mozzarella cheese,
and cooked lasagna noodles in a baking dish.

Bake at

for 30 minutes. 10 minutes before it is done, top with additional cheese.
