There has been a recent amount of complaints about the distribution of the
Health InfoCom Network Newsletter via sci.med and sci.med.aids.
I would like to get a general agreement if the individuals of these newsgroups
want to see this newsletter in the newsgroup or not? I know that many of the
individuals who were getting it via a LISTSERV on Bitnet, dropped off since
they fiqured they would be getting it via the newsgroup.
Please feel free to discuss what you like here, but let me know by email your
opinion on what should be done.
(1) Leave on the newsgroup
(2) Take off the newsgroup
(3) Form a newsgroup just for this type of postings, ie. sci.med.newsletters??
Could be used for distribution of HICNews, AIDS News, BETA, or whatever? Make
it moderated?
I'm willing to do what ever the majority thinks is fair.
