One of my friends who is HIV+ has had blood work done every few months for the past couple of years. Today his doctor called him with the results and the lab gave a completely different breakdown than before. In his previous tests he was given white cell, T-cell and B-cell counts. The new test gave him white cell, CD3, CD4, CD8, CD16 and CD19 counts. What do these new breakdowns mean? What are normal results? At what point is medical and/or pharmaceutical intervention suggested for the different categories? Thanks for any info you can give (which I will pass along). -- Uucp: ...{gatech,ames,rutgers}!ncar!noao!asuvax!stjhmc!204!462!Tony.@visa Internet: Tony.@visa@f462.n204.z1.fidonet.org
