AIDS INFO EXCHANGE BBS is non-profit and relys on donations to
keep running. Ma Bell won't donate lines or give us free
long distance service and maintainence isn't free either.
In the past 2 years, we have serviced callers world-wide
with the most up-to-date information available. Individuals
and professionals alike are making use of the BBS.
We are seeing the need to expand service as calls keep
increasing. We need in the form of equipment:
+ modems (2 - 2400b or 1 each 2400 & 9600)
+ 1 - 2 port comm card
+ A WORM drive (Write Once - Read Many), but a hard disk
wouldn't be refused.
+ A tape back up system.
+ cash
If you can help out - anything at all, you will be helping
to spread the information to hopefully make this BBS
unnecessary. If you know of available grants - let us
know. We are not 501c yet... but we can get you a tax
exempt letter.
