Is there anyone with information on the "wasting away" that occurs in PWAs? I have a friend in the hospital now who has been on AZT for two years and doing fine until recently. Now he has herpes and is losing weight very fast. Is there any correlation between herpes and the weight loss? Any info would be helpful. Thanks for the help. J. Owens
