AS the person who posted to "stages" of the grieving /loss process.. let me thank the last writer who corrected me appropriately.. and let me reword STAGES............to PHASES... and let me agreee that this is a PROCESS.. and you can go back and forth.. not necessarily in any order.... 2 phases at once i havent heard of... though it could be possible.... my point is that it was VERY clear JOHN did not choose to do anything about his HIV + status NOW>... and the more his friend is pushing him to.. the further away he will be pushed away by JOHN............... 'everyone has their own timeclock' when their ready to deal with something or not............ bottom line... we cant do or make ppl do anything THIS IS LIFE...........to the extent that we think we need to.. that is CODEPENDENCE............. not a healthy way to live.......
