NetLandians, Dr Dobbs, Apr 85, had an article describing an FX80 printer font creation and downloading program (with source code in C). I'm translating this into Turbo Pascal (PC), and am maybe 90% done (e.g., only a couple bugs left). Perchance, has anyone done this already? 2d point: anyone foresee significant copyright infringement if I release the Pascal code to Public Domain (Dr. Dobbs is usually pretty good about this, and by definition, the program is NOT anything like the original due to the translation if nothing else.)? Sure, I could write Dr. Dobbs or the author (David D. Clark), but the bugs will be fixed before then! (Don't have address to INFO-PRINTERS, so couldn't address that group.)
