to try to separate the medical and political issues that surround the AIDS crisis would certainly be very difficult. You would say that the lack of availablity of ddI and ddc or any other AIDS treatment drugs that dosen't have FDA approval is not a political issue. You'r out of your head. I haven't read the published statement of the specific purpose of this newsgroup...however, it is my understanding that sci.med.aids is for the information exchange of information that is important to the AIDS community. For those of us that HAVE AIDS, the political information is important as well. I know that ACT-UP information is widely distributed on soc.motss, but sci.med.aids is a place that AIDS information can be obtained without having to wade through the vast volume of news on soc.motss. I don't want to see this newsgroup turn into a political forum, however to exclude any political information would be unfair. -- John "Jay" Tyson \ Drummer Bear Systems \ jayt@drbear.COM 1259 El Camino Real, #214 /\ ...!{decwrl|saxony}!drbear!jayt Menlo Park, CA 94025 / \ / \ I want to die... living!
