I recently saw the blood results of a female who just recently became symptomatic (thrush). Most of the numbers were about the same as they'd been. There were three numbers that changed quite a bit: T4s went from 366 (19%) to 174 (9%) T8s went from 1150 to 788 ESR went from from 49 to 95 I don't know much about the ESR - I assume this means she was fighting an infection. How does that affect the white blood cells? The overall white blood cell count was about the same, although T4s and T8s both went down quite a bit. What's the significance of a big drop in the T8s? If nothing else, it seems better because her T4/T8 ratio isn't as bad as it could have been and her T8 count is back in the "normal" range. But I've seen things that claim that T8 drops are bad, although without giving any reasons - and, for that matter, I've seen other things say that T8 drops are good. Is it that the significance of the T8s isn't understood yet, or did I just come across some poorly edited books? thanks, chads
