Sorry if this was already posted! I screwed up the LISTSERV submission the first time. I'll post a very short summary this time, just in case. Today I received an announcement of Jnet Version 3.2, and also received the new software. (Jnet is Joiner Associates' RSCS implementation for VAX/VMS.) Among other things, 3.2 supports direct connections to IBM MVS/JES2 and CYBER NOS/NJEF. We've been connected to an MVS/JES2 site via Jnet for almost a year now, and the software has operated reliably. 3.2 also supports remote print and batch job submittal to and from VAX sites.
