Hello: We're looking to connect our IBM 3083 (running VM/HPO rel 5 and ACF/VTAM) to an existing Ethernet LAN (mainly composed of DEC VMS/VAX) to obtain full-service (file transfer, electronic mail and virtual terminal access) between computers in the LAN. In order to do that we're going to install TCP/IP in our computer and an interface between the 370 channel and the Ethernet LAN, but we have been considering two options: either 1) to use the ACS 9310 box made by Advanced Computers Communications, or 2) to use the IBM 8232. Now, as we don't have any experience with these equipements we would like to know any experiences you may have had with them, in order to make the best choice (this time price isn't the main problem). Can you help us?. Thanks in advance. Manuel Perez
