The ai news group already has a lot of splintering discussions. I
think it would be better to close off those discussions relating to the
course where uninterested parties could ignore them. I also think that
this is a case where we can show various skeptical managers that the net
can indeed be useful - a moderated university course enlightening their
employees for only the cost of the phone bills!
Bob - i think it would be appropriate for you to give a summary msg
to this newsgroup indicating how many responses requested the course in
newsgroup format, and how many thought newsgroups were inapproproate or
had "better" ideas. This would perhaps give an indication of the
interest involved.
