[comp.protocols.ibm] 7171 controllers and Tektronix terminals

malcolm@csdgwy.csd.unsw.oz (Malcolm Wade) (09/29/88)

The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, recently installed
an IBM 3090/180E computer system using the VM/CMS operating system.

This computer system makes use of IBM 7171 Asynchronous Ascii Communications
controllers. However, use of the asynchronous Tektronix terminals (4010,
4107, etc) accessing the Tektronix PLOT10 library routines to produce graphics
through the 7171 controller is proving to be a difficult problem to solve.
If you are using Tektronix terminals in this way I would greatly appreciate
hearing from you.
