[comp.protocols.ibm] NNTP stuff for IBM mainframes?

david@ms.uky.edu (David Herron -- One of the vertebrae) (10/21/88)

I would like to know of NNTP (Network News Transfer Protocol) stuff
for IBM mainframes. (Ours runs CMS, MVS, VM/SP, that IBM TCP/IP & etc).

This could be either a NNTP server or client, it probably doesn't matter
one way or another.

I know that someone at cunyvm has a server implementation because
Bill RUbin told me of it before he left, and I occasionally see
paths with ..!nysernic!cunyvm!.. in them. But we could make use
of either variety. Our server is running on a Sequent, and probably
wouldn't notice 20 readers connected to it at once...

Thanx
