Hi folks! We have an IBM system connected to BITNET and a UNIX system attached to INTERNET. We seem to be able to send from UNIX to the IBM without any problems (acctnum%calpoly.bitnet as a target address). But going back to the UNIX machine is not working. Our UNIX address is polyslo.calpoly.edu on internet. If anyone has gotten this to work, please drop me a line so I can assist out Csc people.

Sorry I forgot to include some vital information regarding my problem of going from BITNET to Internet. We are running VM/SP with the Rice Mail with the Croswell Mailer (aka, Columbia Mailer v., 1.25, soon to be upgraded to 2.?). Within the year we hope to be going to Profs Extended Mail, so if there is a way with Rice/Croswell, it will hope- fully be simple enough to justify the effort for a temporary fix.
