First the story: MVS/NetView Access Services is to control ALL interactive terminals into the IBM network. The terminal user should ONLY enter one command at the user terminal to get the NVAS logon screen... i.e. NO DIAL VTAM stuff... He should ONLY have to enter one command at the NVAS logon/logoff screen to drop him all to way back to his local platform..i.e workstation client . This story MUST be true for ALL protocols accessing the IBM platform... i.e. ASYNC via 7171's,real 3270's and look alikes, TELNET TN3270 clients The current configuration is VM/HPO-SP (3081K), MVS/XA (3083J), both have VTAM311, VM has the IBM TCP/IP and KNET products, MVS has the NVAS VTAM session manager... Now the question: I have everything covered EXCEPT TELNET client servicing... I am dearly in need of HELP on this one ... IDEAS please !!!!!!!! *********************************************************************** Don Smith Systems Analyst-Communication Systems General Electric Company Corporate Research and Development ______ BITNET: SMITH@GECRDVM1 / | INTERNET: SMITH%GECRDVM1@crd.ge.com | | CSNET: SMITHDR%GECRDVM1@crd.ge.com _________/ | GEMS: GECRDVM1(SMITH) > 0 | DIALCOMM 8-833-5794 / | AT&TNET: 1-(518)-387-5794 |______________ | SNEAKERNET:General Electric Company `_ | Corporate Research & Development `__| Bldg.
