Hi!
I'd like to have certain basic info about bitnet for a computer communi-
cations report I have to submit. I'm a grad student in EE so I'd like
some technical facts like:
0 What is the bit rate on bitnet links?
0 What type of cables are used?
0 What is the baud rate?
0 What type of keying PSK,FSK or DPSK is used?
0 Does it use TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) or FDMA (Frequency
Div. Mult. Acc.)?
0 How are the msgs from various nodes coordinated? Is there some
central controller or many regional controllers?
0 Are there priority queues; pre-emptive or non-pre-emptive?
Apart from these any other basic info related to topics taught in
a first level graduate comp. comm. course would be welcome.
