I need to do PC->PC data transfer (text and binary files) across a 7-bit data line. Considering kermit's slow speed and the fact that the PC's are linked through Datapac at $0.20/minute, I'd rather not use kermit. Can you direct me to any source, specs, or information that might be of assistance? Kermit is not all that slow when you use the long packets and/or sliding windows options in the protocol. MS Kermit 3.01 has both those features.
