Does kermit work with 3174 ? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- We desperately want to know if kermit will work in the following configuration. IBM <------> 3174 <-----> Renex <--------------> Sun main frame SNA Asyn (phone) Renex is a protocol convertor which provides dial-back feature. If you are not sure about its functionality, simply drop it. We know that using a 3705 (instead of 3174) and bisyn all the way from the IBM to the Renex box won't work. Some kermit generated characters are trapped in the 3705 and screw up the connection / file transfer. Any information / advice / pointers are appreciated. Thank you in advance!
