The method outlined by John Klensing for an IBM employee access to Internet *used* to be true. There is now a VNET-Internet Gateway for mail, and altho an employee does have to be entered in an access table, the process is easy and not very restrictive at all. But if the person on the IBM side is not an IBM employee, it might not be approved. I'm not sure what 'internship' means in this respect, so Mr. del Costello should tell his girlfriend to check with her manager/sponsor and find out what the status is. Norm
