[comp.protocols.ibm] U. S. Government DP - MVS Licenses

nts0430@dsac.dla.mil (Ed Troup) (09/01/90)

To All Government IBM 370 MVS Sites:

The Defense Logistics Agency is migrating from MVS/SP1
to MVS/XA. Due to the Defense budget crunch and national
deficit, we do not have funds to license software.

If any federal government sites are migrating to MVS/ESA
or are converting to other operating systems from MVS/XA,
and you acquired software via the GSA schedule, please
    contact:

Edward Troup, 614-238-9419, or DoD AV 850-9419.

MVS/XA licenses can be re-used!!! Save the government
    and the tax payers money.
