[comp.protocols.ibm] Does SSI LU6.2 work ?

zintel@mdivax1.UUCP (09/21/90)

Is anyone using SSI's LU6.2 Commlink software under unix in a parallel session
configuration talking to another LU6.2/PU2.1 implementation ? I am having a
problem with a connection to NCP/VTAM and CICS through a B/F NCP connection.
The host can BIND with me, but BINDs sent to the host are rejected with a
sense code X'0835 FFF6' (invalid field in bind).

I have observed that the user data subfield X'03' Session Instance Id and the
control vector X'60' Fully-qualified Procedure Correlation Id are missing from
the bind image. I am wondering if the 2.1 node needs these fields to map
sessions to LUs.
