[comp.protocols.ibm] Startup problem with 1990 KA9Q version

mirza@magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu (Khalid Mirza) (04/27/91)

I'm having a problem with starting the new KA9Q "net.exe" program
on some of the IBM compatible PCs. The program is 1990 copyright
version 900928 and it runs fine on most PCs. However, when I try
to run it on an AST Bravo/286 PC-AT compatible and an HP Vectra CS
PC-XT compatible, I get the following error message continuously:

	timer: ints were off!

I was successfully using 1989 copyright version 890816 of the KA9Q
on these machines without any problems. And the above problem
occured when I upgraded to the new KA9Q software.

I would greatly appreciate any help/suggestions in this matter.

	Khalid Mirza.
