[comp.protocols.ibm] NetView Automation Clists

I've written some Clists that I'd like to run with timers (using the
EVERY command). The problem I'm having is that these Clists, written
in REXX, use the MSGREAD, WAIT, and TRAP commands, which cannot be run
under the PPT.

Is there any way that I can run them with a timer?

Since we still use NCCF, let me tell you how we do it: we have a
real network operator sign on whenever NCCF is brought up. Then
using TAF, sign on to NCCF again from the same physical terminal
with another special userid. The initial CList for that special
userid initiates all sorts of EVERY, AT timers for various CLists.
We then have the real operator press PA1, 2, and ENTER.

We also bounce NCCF once/day (at least on purpose ;-)).

It works for us. Results may vary south of the Mason/Dixon line.
