turner@daisy.UUCP (D'arc Angel) (12/31/87)

I have had a problem with a number of postings that i've gotten off this
group, when i try to unarc them i get a msg stating that arc doesn't
know how to handle ..... and that i need a newer version of arc. The
latest posting to give me that error was pcmoria. Can some kind soul mail

I was all set to post a uuencoded version of PKXARC 3.5 here as a public
service. THEN I noticed that the distribution file is 71k long, and the
uuencoded version is 100k+. Time to switch to plan B, sez I...

Anyone who wants to mail me a 360k floppy can get ARC 5.20, PKXARC 3.5,
ZOO 1.5, and a uuencode/uudecode set. Or you can get these from various
archive sites, Public Domain software distributors, or virtually any
bulletin board in the free world. My address is:

Another alternative is to talk the soon-to-be moderator into making
PKXARC a monthly posting.
