I have recently downloaded the sectioned uuencoded archives for PICNIX, and
I have run into a small problem. After concatenating them together, I attempted
to uudecode the complete file, and got a "no end line" message. This was
apparently because the person who posted them had put his signature at the
end of each file, and I hadn't noticed it. So I edited out the signatures.
But there is also a line giving a "section size" at the end of each file.
I tried uudecoding the concatenated files both with and without the "section
size" line, and it worked both ways. Not being too familiar with uudecode,
which way is correct? I'm trying to avoid trial and error as much as possible.
