The following program is a new BBS system that was written in Turbo Pascal 4.0. It is not out for public downloading yet so there is no distribution whatsoever, so... There are 3 major files to the system: DMGBBS.ARC - This contains all the executable files DMGSETUP.ARC - All the setup files for the system DMGFILES.ARC - All the text files that go into making this system. There are several key features to this system that make it rather unusual. The message base system is divided up into linked tree-like sections rather that sequential numbering systems. The file transfer section supports external protocols in the same fashion as POE.EXE does, that is, there is a definition file for the thing... A forum section is included, scheduling events, soon to have fidonet capabilities, etc.... There is source code available for those really interested in it, but it is not supported nor is it all included (some of the files are TPU files intead of PAS files). Play around with the thing and let me know what you think about it... -- ..!csustan ->!polyslo!mdella | mdella@polyslo | Whatever I said doesn't ..!sdsu ---/ Marcos R. DMGFILES and DMGBBS. If it was worth posting once, it should be worth posting again. Also, I would be very interested in the complete source code. If it could be mailed to me (I don't think many others want it) it would be appreciated. ______________________________________________________________________ WYBBS: SCO XENIX Grand Rapids, Michigan Phone: (616) 457-1964 UUCP: Ihnp4!killer!Wybbs!Davejag --- Dave Jaglowski - (616)676-2647 "Do you think you can take over the universe and improve it?"- Lao-Tzu ---------------------------------------------------------------------- .
