After uudecoding and running SKY.EXE (auto un-packer) I get a CRC error on the SKYPLOT.EXE file. Trying to run it, the PC just goes away and I have to re-boot. Has anyone else experienced this problem? -- Bob Esposito, Bell of Pennsylvania uucp: {rutgers|cbmvax|bellcore}!bpa!espo A Bell Atlantic Company domain: espo@bpa.bell-atl.com Philadelphia, PA. phone: +1 215 466 6831 ===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===

When I renamed it to SKY.EXE and ran it so that it could unarc itself, it came up with two CRC errors. It does run, but when it asks for the date, it justs sits there and doesn't allow you to enter anything. I have to re-boot my machine to get out of it. Would somebody repost a good version of skyplot or either email it to me. I would really appreciate it. BTW, I posted this to this newsgroup because I am in support of a discussions group. Therefore, we need a comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d group! ----- Shawn McDonald mechsfm@tness1.UUCP SWBT / Netwk. Mech. {!killer,!ihnp4,!petro,..} San Antonio, TX (512)377-6226

I like the skyplot program also but the EGA version gives me the following error message no matter what I do. I get this message after it prompts for all of the info. Illegal function call in module SKYNEW at address 0F56:1369 Hit any key to return to system The CGA works fine. I have an IBM-AT with IBM-EGA card and monitor. Jim Moore
