With the flurry of net traffic, there seems to be a problem with Monkey that was received at some sites. As I think most people got it, and since the net does cost, I'm not going to repost it just yet. However, I know that it is available from simtel-20.arpa, in PD1:<MSDOS.CALCULATOR>MONKEY.ARC.1 If you can't get to it, I'd be glad to send a copy to you. Just drop me a line at ...!lanl!unmvax!nmtsun!greg. As for the Model 80 problem, I think it has something to do with the fact that Monkey uses direct screen routines, as supported by Turbo-C V1.5. Without these routines, the standard PC version is very slow on output. I have already put the code in so that it can run both ways (either direct screen video, or standard stream output). Other suggestions have come in, and I am incorporating them. If anyone has any suggestions/gripes/ideas I would really like to hear them. Thanks, greg (...!lanl!unmvax!nmsun!greg) P.S. Where's comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d when you need it? Get your votes in!
