[comp.binaries.ibm.pc] What to do with zcomm???

u-pgardi%sunset.utah.edu@utah-gr.UUCP (Phillip Garding) (04/21/88)

First, I want to apologize for posting a non-binary file to this newsgroup,
but there isn't a comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d yet, so what real choice is there,
since I don't want to slog through the .sys 'group?

What is supposed to be done to the zcomm files to get at the working
program? It seems to be shar-ed, and I have an unshar for my pc, but
the first documentation file tries to create "._temp_, which doesn't
work real well on MS-DOS. Am I stupid or just uninformed? Do I need an
unshar to run on the VAX so that I can create an arc that I can take
home to my pc?

Please, someone or everyone, tell me how to get this program unpacked!!
E-mail to me, please!
