Simply stated, PC-COMMANDER is a program which allows you to take COMMAND of your computer. You use it to create custom menus to execute the programs on your hard disk. Instead of remembering cryptic names of the programs on your hard disk, PC-COMMANDER presents you with a menu containing descriptive names (which you create to your liking) of the programs on your hard disk. You simply point to the program you want to run, and PC-COMMANDER will execute it for you. When you are done, PC-COMMANDER will display the menu for you again, if you choose. For each task, you can specify that you want PC-COMMANDER to stay in memory while it is executing that task. This will cause PC-COMMANDER to immediately re-appear after that task is finished. For each task, you can also have PC-COMMANDER prompt for information to be passed on to the program, such as the name of a file to edit, a disk to display the directory of, etc. This feature makes your computer truly user-friendly. PC-COMMANDER is ideal for use in offices and schools. The only thing you need to make PC-COMMANDER work for you is a slight understanding of batch files.
