[comp.binaries.ibm.pc] Explanation of PSPICE

Ram-Ashwin@cs.yale.edu (Ashwin Ram) (04/28/88)

SPICE is a well-known circuit simulator. As I recall, it stands for Simulation
Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis. It's based on Nagel's thesis (early
1970s), and is used for simulating analog circuits for design and analysis.

PSPICE is an IBM/PC implementation of this program. I don't know how good the
implementation is 'cause I haven't tried it.

[Sorry to post this here, but comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d hasn't arrived here yet.
If this stops the flurry of "What is PSPICE?" requests it'll pay for itself :-)]
