SILENCE IN NEWGROUP POSTINGS
Due to the sudden arrival of the Fall semester here, I have not had
time to process submissions. For this reason nothing has been posted
to comp.binaries.ibm.pc for about a week. New postings will begin to
appear soon.
REQUESTS TO REPOST OR SEND BY MAIL
If you sent a request for a repost, you probably did not receive a
reply so far. I was uncertain about what to do if people requested me
to mail postings that they didn't get. Each posting in this newsgroup
invariably results in many requests to "repost or email me a copy."
The situation would be entirely out of control if I mailed copies of
postings to everybody who asked, and grossly unfair if I mailed to a
few. For this reason I have simply saved all requests and will compose
a form letter and respond to them with this form letter soon. Thank-
you for waiting and being patient.
