HBX@PSUVM.BITNET (02/06/86)
I have an ATT6300 with a third party hard disk (microscience). I have
had some problems with it over the last few months. Now my norton
utilities disktest program tells me that I have a bad FAT. Other than
the notice from disktest, I would not have known - no other symptoms.
1) what is the long term potential danger of continuing to use the
machine in this state, and 2) is there any way that I can remedy this
short of backing everything up and reformatting.
