I created both newsgroups. All the Pittsburgh system adminstrators (idis, cadre, prodigal, dri0, pitt, and mi-cec), were supposed to post an item in their local bulletin boards mentioning their creation. The group pgh.food was supposed to discuss local area restaurants, food shopping, and the like, while pgh.general could cover anything else (local meetings, demos by sales reps, etc.). Apparently, the notice never went out, but the groups have existed for a month or so. Sorry for the lack of notification - I hope this will suffice to advise all net-hackers of their existance. -Dan Klein, Mellon Institute, Pittsburgh
