We are looking for a good Authoring System to produce
educational software for use with our first year CHEMISTRY
courses.
We have no experience with any system and we have not yet
purchased micros to run the software. At present we expect that
we will opt for IBM-PC compatible machines. The only systems that
we have looked at so far (in demo disk form) are
IBM Pilot and MICROTEXT (Transdata)
We want a system that can print chemical formulas proper-
ly. It must be able to print both subscript and superscript and
produce reasonable graphics.
We would be interested to hear about the experiences of
others (good or bad) in using an authoring system to produce in-
structional software for chemistry courses.
