Many recent postings have asked for references for more information on software engineering topics. A valuable resource, in case you don't read announce.conferences is the upcoming 'Structured Development Forum'. This conference is dedicated to presenting pertinent software engineering topics. If you are able to attend, you will be able to meet at chat with the "biggies" in software engineering and with other practitioners who likely have the same problems that you do.
