My research group is interested in improving its software development methodologies. One area of concern to our group, and I imagine to other groups as well, concerns project documentation. I would be interested in learning what types of documentation other groups produce when executing software development projects. In particular, I am more interested in document types and content, and less interested in style issues. Of particular interest would be general outlines of specification documents, design documentation, statement of work, test plans, etc. It would be great if we could establish a working repository of such information. TeX and/or LaTeX sources are also of interest to me personally, but perhaps not to other sites. I will point out that the IEEE publishes some standards in this area. We are ordering copies of these standards, but I thought I would ask for some net-input as well.
