rsanderson@watale.UUCP (Roger K. Sanderson P.Eng.) (04/07/86)
At the University of Waterloo, the Electrical Engineering Dept.
is introducing a new interfacing course this summer. We plan on using the
Intel 8096/97 microcontroller. We have built a board with
ROM and RAM on it, and the students will be adding their
I/O designs via wire wrap.
I am interested in hearing from anyone who has had either
good or bad experiences with the 8096 series. Also any feedback
on using wire-wrap in a student environment would also be appreciated.
As usual please post responses and I will summarize to the net.
Thanks in advance
Roger
