[comp.software-eng] Routines to parse IDE files

joshua@athertn.Atherton.COM (Flame Bait) (08/26/89)

The following message is only of interest to people who use IDE's Software
Through Pictures system. I have written some routines which parse IDE's
*.pct file into C data structures. My routines are quite primitive in that
they only support *.pct format, and have very bad error handling, but they
do seem to work. They are not copyrighted at all (ie. truely public domain).

These routines are available from the archive-server on joshua.atherton.com.
To get them send an email message with the following body:

send other ideparse.shar

To one of these addresses:
    archive-server@joshua.atherton.com (best)
    decwrl!athertn!joshua!archive-server
    hpda!athertn!joshua!archive-server
    sun!athertn!joshua!archive-server

Note that atherton has an 'o' for the domain address, but no 'o' for the
UUCP addresses. Be careful. You can get help by sending email with the
body "help" in it, and more help by sending "send other morehelp" to the
archive server. If you get no reply, try using adding the line

path yourname@youraddress

To your mail. If all else fails, send me email. Also, if anyone is
interested in an IDE mailing list, send me some email.
