	Yes, they need to be uncompacted.  The program you are looking for is
ARCxx.EXE (the xx is the version number and changes faster than I can keep up).
It should be on any board that has .ARC files, try looking in a UTILITIES or
TELECOMMUNICATIONS section.  Good luck!
