OK, so I didn't know where to ask this question. I wanted to ask people whose opinions I could trust, and most of you folks seem to be on-the-ball. It looks like we're in line to get a new CS building. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has been recently involved in a similar situation who can tell me with regard to the layout and facilities: (a) What you did that you wish you hadn't. (b) What you didn't do that you wish you had done. I'm looking only for non-obvious things. We know about stuff like offices having windows, appropriate cabling, all the things that someone would certainly come up with in the first month of thinking about it. But if you know of something that might slip through the cracks (or did in your case, and you're not too embarrassed to tell me) I would very much appreciate a short note.
